“Peng” or “Ward off left” and “Ward off right”
This is the first part of the second section of the
Yang Style 26-section Mariposa Foundation Routine.
This is a symmetrical routine containing all the movements of the traditional Yang style, and the important combinations. It is designed to be balanced and easy to follow.
Students who learn this routine will have a solid foundation which can be applied to any Yang style routine, and which will serve them well when learning any other style.
The instruction method is designed to ensure solid fundamentals necessary for achieving high level skill, whether the student seeks martial skill, better fitness, or the many other benefits of tai chi.
